Travis Townsend
was an All-American in Cross Country at Deer Valley High School in Arizona, and attended Northern Arizona University on a cross-country and track scholarship, specializing in middle distances. He graduated with a degree in  Education.

During the past eight years Travis has coached high school and community sports teams and continued his own involvement in athletics by competing in adult softball, tennis and basketball leagues as well as  road races, triathlons and adventure relays around the US.

Over his athletic career, Travis has explored numerous approaches to physical development and athletic training. His involvement with Elite Performance Athletics is the result of his own personal experience with the limitations of today's conventional personal training programs available to high school and college athletes. His belief is that neuromuscular intensification and plyometric training can maximize the performance of every athlete or fitness seeker, regardless of their genetic makeup.
